Weekly Affirmation Card for April 10th – 16th

The image of “I honor my body’s wisdom” was inspired by a cat I spent time with when I used to housesit for a couple. The cat would lounge most of the day (because she was more of a night cat, wanting to be up and out when it’s dark), and there were moments when I looked at her and said that she had the life, lol.

With that in mind, when “I honor my body’s wisdom” turns up, its message is to slow down – to pause (a pun for “paws”) and take some time to replenish.

With “I honor my body’s wisdom,” you’re being called to take care of your mind, body, and spirit – to put your well-being first.

How are you being called to slow down, to pause? To rest, to restore, to rejuvenate? When did you last go on holiday, or take a weekend, a day, or an afternoon off?

“I honor my body’s wisdom” encourages you to look after yourself, in an effort to practice good self-care. Give yourself enough time to recover, especially when you find you’re running on reserves.

Believe there is enough time – and be willing to give yourself that gift.

“I honor my body’s wisdom” invites you to ask yourself this question: “What is my body yearning for?”
