Card of the Week: 7 of Hearts

When 7 of Hearts turns up, it offers a few possibilities for your consideration.

First, 7 of Hearts is a card that talks about second chances; this is what I see conveyed in the image, as I imagine the man embracing his lover and/or partner in a moment of reconciliation, of giving him and their relationship another chance. For me, the suit of Hearts doesn’t just mean romantic relationships, so this card might offer for you to consider if there’s someone in your life you’d be willing to give another chance – in an effort to improve (the 7 is a number of improvement) that relationship.

Hearts is also a suit of healing, so 7 of Hearts might further suggest the healing of a relationship; with the 7 being a number of personal insight and self-awareness, the healing that occurs leads to new insights about yourself and possible relationship dynamics you have experienced – and making you more aware when those particular aspects present themselves to you going forward. With the man embracing another man, it can symbolize “embracing” an idea that provides a shift in awareness or consciousness.

For me, 7 of Hearts can indicate spiritual healing (in addition to emotional healing, as suggested above), so another possibility is “embracing” (being open and receptive to) a particular healing modality – or sharing your experience using healing techniques with others.

And finally, 7 of Hearts can turn up to suggest a period of intuitive growth and development, as a result of placing time and attention on your spiritual side or nature. Pay close attention to intuitive impressions and promptings that come to you in meditative moments or messages from your dreams especially. Be willing to “embrace” those messages and put them into action. It is my belief that dream messages come to us to help us heal and improve our lives – much like the message of 7 of Hearts.
