What Are You Learning About You?

Liberation (also known as Judgement), from the Transformational Tarot.
Liberation (also known as Judgement), from the Transformational Tarot.

Our card for today, Liberation, is a signal that you are becoming more conscious, more aware of Who You Are.

The image shows a long corridor, that has many archways. At the end of the corridor, there is a large face, watching, observing.

Liberation is the journey of the self—and with each crossing of each threshold, brings us one step closer to the Self.

This is a card of self-examination; each step we take in life, each experience we have, makes us more aware of ourselves—if we choose to look at it that way.

If you believe that Life is like being in school, Liberation can suggest there will come times when we will be tested—otherwise, how will we know we’ve learned the lessons? In this sense, Liberation is about passing those tests. It is said that we learn more about who we are in times of challenge rather than when things are going smoothly. Why is that?

On that note, consider, for today, looking at your own journey through life:

  • How have your experiences been teachers for you?
  • What did you learn?
  • What are you learning now?
  • How have you become more conscious, more aware, as a result?
  • What new lease on life do you have now?

Liberation asks you to be honest with yourself during your examination. Unlike the exams in school, there are no right and wrong answers. There is only the Truth. Your Truth.

And the Truth shall set you free.
